Savannah Safe

During this busy spring season, the safety and wellbeing of our community is still a priority as we continue to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We are encouraging all of our members and guests to continue to follow the guidance of the Georgia Department of Public Health.

The Centers for Disease Control says fully vaccinated people can resume activities indoor and outdoor, large or small, without wearing a mask or social distancing. But there are exceptions, including if a local requirement is in effect. The City of Savannah has a mask mandate in place through May 31, 2021. Even though the new CDC guidance is out, Mayor Johnson said the city will keep the mask mandate in place because not enough people are fully vaccinated.

Many of Savannah’s businesses have taken the Savannah Safe Pledge, an initiative to keep employees, residents, and visitors healthy and safe. Click the link above to view the list of businesses that have taken the pledge. The Savannah Safe Pledge ensures that area businesses are sharing responsibility in following safety protocols to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
