Wow, what an amazing July 4th celebration we had! Savannah’s Waterfront was delighted to host our largest annual event, the Independence Day Celebration, on Saturday, July 4. Guests enjoyed the day at four waterfront locations – Rousakis Riverfront Plaza, Plant Riverside District, Savannah Convention Center and The Park at Eastern Wharf. Many thanks to our guests, partners, and hospitality team for making our America 250 event sparkle. We had a blast at Rousakis Riverfront Plaza, especially with our Most Patriotically Dressed Contest. Can’t wait to make this an annual tradition!
As evening fell, the rockets red glare lit up the sky with a spectacular fireworks show, perfectly synched to patriotic tunes. The approximately 20 minute spectacle was fired from a floating barge in the Savannah River.
