Live Music, Food, Family Activities and Front-Row Views of Savannah’s Fireworks Highlight Independence Day Event
Savannah Convention Center invites residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day at its free Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4, featuring live music, food and beverages, family-friendly activities, and front-row views of the annual Savannah River fireworks show presented by the Waterfront Association.
Located on Hutchinson Island directly across from Savannah’s Historic District, Savannah Convention Center offers one of the area’s most unique vantage points for viewing the holiday fireworks display while enjoying an evening of entertainment and community celebration along the riverfront.
The celebration will feature:

- Portable restrooms
- On-site parking
- Front-row views of the Savannah River fireworks show
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the festivities. Tents are not permitted.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available on-site for $25 per vehicle, and advance parking registration is encouraged. The Esplanade and Riverwalk will open at 4:00 p.m. for attendees.
Outside alcohol is prohibited. Coolers are permitted but subject to search upon entry. Glass containers, personal fireworks, smoke bombs, bicycles, skateboards, and other prohibited items will not be allowed.
All food, beverage, and parking purchases are cashless. Credit and debit cards are the only forms of payment accepted.
