Summer of Celebration Promotion

In celebration of America’s 250th birthday, Savannah’s Waterfront is developing a marketing promotion from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend with our Independence Day Celebration as the anchor event. The Summer of Celebration will feature patriotic food and drink specials in our restaurants, specialty items and sales in our shops, as well as lodging offers and packages at our hotels. This red, white, and blue effort encourages visitation during the entire summer. River Street will be our region’s “can’t miss” place to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary! All Independence Day Celebration sponsors will be featured and promoted during the three-month Summer of Celebration.

The Savannah’s Waterfront Board of Directors meets monthly except for August. Meetings are usually on the third Tuesday at 11:30am.  Members are always welcome to attend – just call the office with your rsvp.

Menu Board Application – City of Savannah Real Estate Services

Georgia Power – Report a Streetlight Outage

Savannah Police Department – Citizen Agreement Form – gives SPD the ability to address loitering and criminal trespassing on private property

Savannah Police Department – Connect Savannah – a new public safety program that allows the SPD access to your external camera feed in case of an emergency near your location. Sharing your feed can improve response time and help keep you, your employees and guests safer by providing advanced details of the situation.

You can be part of this initiative by integrating your outward public facing cameras or registering your cameras with SPD. These new camera angles make the world smaller for those who want to commit crimes. SPD can work with you on setting up this voluntary sharing of pubic facing cameras and you can turn the system off at any time. To share your cameras, all you need is a small fususCORE device that plugs into your camera system. Once it’s set up, it enables camera sharing based on your settings without impacting your network.
