City Turns GREEN for 200th
A bicentennial celebration doesn’t come along very often. To mark this historic tradition, the 200th Anniversary Committee has turned the city GREEN! These waterfront locations have already turned GREEN in honor of this year’s Bicentennial Celebration: Hyatt Regency Savannah, Live Oak Restaurant Group, Savannah City Hall, Savannah Convention Center, Plant Riverside District, and the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The 200th Anniversary Committee invites everyone in Savannah to join the celebration by changing their outdoor lighting to GREEN. All participating businesses will be mentioned in the committee’s WTOC spots as well at their website. We hope this is the beginning of an annual tradition.
