Savannah’s Waterfront was formed in 1973 as a non-profit charitable organization composed of proprietors, property owners and other stakeholders to:

  • Preserve and maintain the waterfront’s historic character
  • Maintain and improve the waterfront’s scenic nature and appearance
  • Promote and stimulate public interest in the waterfront
  • Promote cooperation and mutual assistance among property owners and businesses along the waterfront

We are the only organization in Savannah that is focused on the betterment of the waterfront – a historic treasure that a growing number of people enjoy and cherish.

Financial commitments help:

  • Build a healthy balance between the historic and human environments
  • Advance initiatives for the improvement of the waterfront
  • Enhance the extraordinary environment of Savannah’s Waterfront
  • Facilitate collaboration within the city to ensure limited resources go farther

Membership Dues are based on the type of business per location:

  • $250 Retail/Non-profit
  • $500 Service Providers/Tours
  • $500 Restaurant
  • $750 Lodging
  • $1,000 Property Owner/Building
