Join us for Derby Day on the Deck at Myrtle & Rose where we will be honoring the Run of the Roses on May 4th. Our champagne brunch menu will feature special food and drink items inspired by the Kentucky Derby traditions. You will have an opportunity to join a glass dipping experience with the purchase of a Maker’s Mark specialty drink and have your custom fascinator created by Syd Nichole. Derby races can be enjoyed all afternoon until the shortest race in history will take place around 6:45pm.

Derby on the Roof Brunch (11am to 3pm) Enjoy some traditional favorite race delicacies during brunch with Spicy Chicken Biscuit (Buttermilk Biscuit, Spicy Honey Glazed Fried Chicken, Homemade Pickles), Praline Pancakes (Citrus Butter, Pecan Praline Syrup), Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese (Toasted Brioche, Kentucky Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Pimento Cheese), Hot Brown (White Toast, Turkey Breast, Mornay Sauce, Gruyere, Tomato, Bacon), and Bread Pudding (Fresh Berries, Kentucky Bourbon Caramel Sauce, Mint Julep Mascarpone.) Top it off with a Mint Julep of Last Minute Spritz featuring Maker’s Mark and picture yourself at the Kentucky track.

Maker’s Mark Glass Dipping Experience (4pm to 6 pm) Purchase a Mint Julep or Last Minute Spritz with Maker’s Mark and partake in creating your own absolutely stunning Maker’s Mark Wax Dipped Glasses. Maker’s Mark and its hand-dipped red wax seal have been synonymous with bourbon ever since their introduction over 50 years ago. You will continue this tradition by hand-dipping this high-quality glass, in red wax so no two glasses are alike making them exceptionally unique, and an eye-catching addition to your whiskey-drinking evenings with a little bit of pizzazz. Custom make your fascinators with Syd Nichole (4pm to 8pm) The race would not be the same without donning your custom fascinator.
