The highlight of Christmas on the River is the annual Lighted Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 10. The Parade will begin at 5:30pm at Plant Riverside District on the west end of River Street, go down to the east end, then winds its way downtown for the entire community to enjoy. Staging begins at 4:00pm and the parade features community floats, cars, trolleys, walking groups and more!

Savannah’s Waterfront is now accepting parade entries. Floats, vehicles, and walking groups will be judged and trophies will be awarded. Every vehicle in your unit must be decorated with lights in a Christmas theme This includes bicycles, motorcycles, cars and vehicles with logos.
