The Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. Since 1824, the committee has organized and presented special events leading up to and including the parade. The last time the parade hit the streets of Savannah was March 17th, 2019; and we are ready to get back out there.

The Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee’s mission is to put on a fitting celebration to honor St. Patrick on March 17th of each year. Since 1824, the committee has organized a parade to be the central focus of that celebration. While we have respected the decisions that had to be made to keep our community safe from this dreadful pandemic, we feel that 2022 will give us an opportunity to return to the streets and bring back a sense of normalcy that we all desire. We have been working closely with City of Savannah officials and their medical advisors to make sure we are comfortable moving forward with the parade. As of now, we are moving forward with the organization and execution of our 2022 celebration that will culminate with our parade stepping off at 10:15 AM on March 17, 2022. We will continue to work with the city and other officials to carefully construct a safe and fun filled experience for our community and all who are visiting.
