“Mix It Up at the Moon” Mixology Class

$40Plant Riverside District’s Electric Moon Skytop Lounge, located at 400 W. River Street, will host Mix It Up at the Moon, a new interactive mixology class that will take place monthly on the Moon Deck. The inaugural Mix It at the Moon event will take place on Wednesday, July 13 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Featuring master mixologists and brand ambassadors from around the globe, Mix It Up at the Moon will showcase a rotating series of experts throughout the year. At each event, guests will learn how to make two signature cocktails as well as signature dishes from the culinary team at Electric Moon.
“We’re thrilled to kick off this exciting new mixology series at Electric Moon,” said Eric Bandauski, Director of Beverage and Procurement at JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District. “We invite everyone to sign up for the July 13th Mix It Up at the Moon event and to enjoy the opportunity to create two memorable summer cocktails that will be perfect to beat the Georgia heat.”
The inaugural Mix It Up at the Moon event will feature Grey Goose Brand Ambassador Jenny Feldt and St. Germain Brand Ambassador Shannon Evans, both of whom have enjoyed successful hospitality industry careers with a strong focus on cocktails and spirits.
Grey Goose Brand Ambassador Jenny Feldt is an experienced hospitality professional with extensive knowledge of the beverage industry and previously served as the head bartender position at Le Diplomate in Washington, D.C. She has also consulted for Steven Starr’s restaurants up and down the East Coast and developed her molecular gastronomy cocktail skills at Barmini in Washington, D.C. In 2016, she won Speed Rack, an all-female Speed Bartender Competition to support breast cancer research and awareness. She has worked on elite national brand partnerships, including the PGA Tour, Super Bowl and the Grammy Awards.
Originally from Mandeville, Jamaica, St. Germain Brand Ambassador Shannon Evans resides in Atlanta and has consulted for clients including the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival, A3C Hip Hop Festival, Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Soho House. She was featured as “Ones to Watch in Food” by Atlanta magazine and successfully completed the Level 1 Sommelier course through the Court of Master Sommeliers.
