$25Plant Riverside District, which is widely known as Savannah’s Entertainment District, is pleased to present the second installment of the inspirational Soul Sessions, Georgia R&B extravaganza on Saturday, March 9 at District Live, a state-of-the-art live music venue located at 400 W. River St. in Savannah, Ga.
This special evening will be hosted by acclaimed musician Terrance “YIKES!” Williams and feature live performances by R&B star Sharese Janay, recording artist Cyrenthia Threat, and musical director Willie Jones. The evening’s talent is curated by Savannah performing artist and entrepreneur Delandrian Aikens.
Soul Sessions brings together Georgia’s top R&B talent for a special evening of live music, sophisticated soul, and an electric atmosphere that can only be found at District Live for an unforgettable evening of music and community.

Host Terrance “YIKES!” Williams is a professional musician whose calling is bringing people together through the power of music. He is a self-taught lead guitarist with 10+ years of musical and leadership experience from neo-soul to rock, gospel, R&B, and jazz to hip hop. This larger-than-life full-time musician is also the host to self-development and growth classes, a philanthropic organizer of food and back-to-school drives, producer and teacher of music. He has played with artists such as American Idol winner Candice Glover, Ricky Dillard, Vicki Winans, Kelly Price, Pastor Troy, Avant, and many other artists.
Sharese “Resee” Janay is a talented singer-songwriter with ties to Savannah, Ga. who captivates audiences with her seductive R&B love songs that leave a lasting impact. Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Janay began singing at the age of four and promptly started winning major talent competitions at the age of five. Today, she is a talented R&B star who channels the essence of soul legends like Patti LaBelle and Luther Vandross in her live performances.
Cyrenthia Threat is a singer and recording artist from Hinesville, Ga. who has been singing for 37 years. At five years old, Threat began singing at church and later gravitated to R&B and jazz. Threat’s style and voice have been influenced by world-renowned artists, including Anita Baker, Stephanie Mills, Prince, and Erykah Badu, and her showmanship draws inspiration from iconic artists like Chaka Khan and Janet Jackson. To date, Threat has recorded and performed with numerous national recording artists, including Natasha Cobbs Leonard, Peabo Bryson, Byron Cage, Le’Andria Johnson, Mali Music, Joshua Rogers, RLW, and Kierra Sheard.
Willie Jones is the founder of Euphonic Music LLC and the long-standing musical director for “American Idol” winner Candice Glover as well as the captivating NuVyb ensemble. Previously, he served as the musical director for Savannah College of Art & Design’s production “BAM” and delivered a noteworthy performance alongside R&B/soul artist George Lovett at the illustrious Apollo Theater in New York. Jones also lends his musical prowess to diverse local bands within Savannah, GA’s vibrant music scene.
